About Department 

• Eskişehir Technical University is a university affiliated to the laws of higher education institutions in Türkiye.
• All courses and lectures in our department are conducted entirely in English.
• The department also offers opportunities for international exchange programs and research collaborations

History

• 1980 Eskişehir Technical University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department was first established within Anadolu University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
• 1993 With the transfer of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture to Osmangazi University, a new Faculty of Engineering and Architecture and a new Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering were established within this faculty.
• Graduate education started in the 1994 1995 academic year, and undergraduate education in the 1997 1998 academic year.
• 2011 2012 Faculty of Engineering and Architecture was divided into two faculties and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was included in the Faculty of Engineering.
• With the establishment of Eskişehir Technical University with the Law No. 7141 published in the 2018 Official Gazette, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was transferred to Eskişehir Technical University.
• The education period of the undergraduate program is 4 years. In addition, students who cannot pass the English placement test must attend the 1-year English preparatory class and successfully complete this class before taking the department courses.
